    While sitting in the garden this afternoon choking on the smell of burnt burgers I thought I'd do a Dan Maskell/ Andrew Castle, so I threw a thermometer on the grass in full sun.:lunapic 130165696578242 5:

    It hit 41C, so I declare that in my garden it was 106F this afternoon.:yikes::lunapic 130165696578242 5:

    It was actually 32.5C in the shade:smile:

      For all my complaining about it being too hot I'm so pleased it such a good BH for most...I'm quite happy sitting in the shade minding me own business just narked because I can't get the jobs done I want because it's TOOOO 'OT.

        It's almost noon and we are up to 75f. I've finally finished my baking and cleaning and am now going outside for the rest of the day. It doesn't get better than this :yes:

                    Yesterday was much too hot at 92F/33C and no breeze. :phew:

                    At 7 a.m. this morning it was 70F/21C and I have now finished my gardening for the day. It has risen three degrees in the last half hour!

                          @Verdun I can't believe that Cornwall is missing this lovely weather, my niece is on holiday down there and has reported back to my sister of highs today of only 18C and damp!!!:yikes:

                              Cool, with a temperature at the moment of 63f. The skies are painted a smooth light grey cloud and there is not a whisper of breeze, while the pressure reading is 1000hpa. There is a forecast of an expected 80f plus later on today .........we'll see!!!:coffee::)
