Homebase compost

I have just reserved 4 x 60l Jacks magic for £9.
4 for 3 down from £6.95 to £3.
Other composts available.
Looks good to me.

Hope it is better than the last lot of Jack's Magic I bought. It was more like unsieved peat scrapings than what I have had before. Very poor stuff. Sad as Jacks' Magic has been really good until then.

 

Aw, don't say that, I've always read good things about it. Not opened it yet but will sometime this week so my fingers are well and truly crossed.
I've got it now so stuck with it and will come back when it's opened and let the world know.

Good practice to run it through a sieve anyway, Rob. Haven't got to go mad with it and use anything ultra fine, just enough to get any of the big stuff out.

I've just reserved 4 bags too at my local Homebase for £12 though.
I'll pick up tomorrow.

 

They've taken off the 4 for 3 offer, my branch has gone from 80 to 5 since Sunday and none left elsewhere nearby. Bit of a swiz though.
I'll do that Moley, had to do it with a really bad B&Q compost a couple of years ago, plastic and twigs in it.
