There is a lovely old cat a few doors down named Roy...but he has taken to using my nursery bed as a toilet no matter what barriers I put up...This morning I heard myself saying out loud...I've blanked out the swear words...:mute: Roy has :mute: in the nursery bed again..which maybe wouldn't have sounded so bad but they call my shouty neighbour Roy..he'll be convinced I meant him..:loll:

I was looking around the local plant market we have in the town centre every Saturday (A local nursery), I saw a lovely white agapanthus, price £15, couldn't believe it:mad: I can get one for £7.

Avoid Tesco thick cut marmalade - tried some this morning - it tastes awful

Morrisons thick cut - now that is a fine marmalade:biggrin:

Well I don't mind telling you all I'm Kn@ckered ...Alarms be it house alarms, car alarms :gaah: ..Last night there was one going off ..on and off till 3am...which to add insult to injury it also must have set a dog off barking and it wouldn't give up...Does anyone actually take any notice of alarms going off these days ? I've got past it myself unless it's my immediate neighbours...they're a sodding nuisance..Grrrrrr..

@lolimac We have alarms going off occasionally but the owners of these cars are usually home and turn them off fast! Lucky here :phew: I'd want to go over and put the car out of it's misery :catapult: if that went on and on as you have had happen.

My current frustration is trying to find a pattern for a sleeveless top that doesn't have giant armholes. I swear the pattern makers think everyone wants so much pit area showing that it looks like a wife beater top. Trying to figure out how to adjust the pattern seems fruitless too as all the videos and articles talk mostly about tops with sleeves

Why don't you try a pattern with sleeves then just omit them @CanadianLori ?

The patterns with sleeves have large openings to accommodate arm movement. I think I'm just going to have to draft my own. I've got a princess line dress pattern that I think I can use as a base and adjust that. So irritating! I want to make a twinset as I have some lovely fabric coming into a warehouse in the states where my gal pal and I will go to pick up in a few weeks.

Thanks for thinking on this for me :)

After some delay waiting on delivery... it's a mucky job in amongst the gears but all back together and working :) Definitely cheaper than sending off!

My moan for today....(I'm turning into Victor Meldrew)

I don't think it's bloody necessary whilst people are using strimmers to keep constantly revving it up like they're riding a dodgy moped.:gaah:

:phew: Glad I got that out my system..
