Mine's produced a lot of seed pods this year, but in view of it's nasty habits, I won't be offering them in seed swaps

On the subject of pollination, I've noticed a higher number of those green iridescent flies on my Sedum spectabile this year, not a huge increase but typically 2-3 instead of the usual odd one. Wondered what they are called, if they pollinate plants and if they feed on nectar? I love hoverflies, but find these a tad repulsive TBH.

        Thanks,

        Nick

Better in the garden than in the house!
