    This is very sad.. The end of another era.. He was the greatest drummer in my eyes even if he was a cantankerous old so and so.. Rest easy and keep playing those drums up there..

      Yes, very sad. He was part of my formative years, musically speaking.

      Obviously, not everyone’s cup of tea, but just illustrates his talent. His footwork was out of this world!

        That stems from his cycling days he was a good cyclist but had to many accidents.! :heehee: Left him with strong legs so that’s how come he played the 2 base drums..! :SUNsmile:

          The first part of the first video I posted is an interview, where he demonstrates different techniques. He makes it look so easy, but it’s anything but! I remember an interview where he was saying that it wasn’t enough to just hit the drum, he wanted to hit a certain part of the drum! Amazing drummer...
