            Champlain Canal, Lock 2 at Mechanicville, NY. The locks on the canal system are open to visitors and have well-maintained picnic areas, but rarely do I see any people there. I guess not many people are aware of them, as I was not aware of them until this year. I have lived in this area all of my life and never thought to visit the locks.

                      It's not my fence, that's down to the crofter and the field should only have two horses in it. The coo's had broken through from a lower field. Luckily it being so green they weren't bothered about breaking through to my garden. They were moved later in the day to another area.
