Horrendous rain here. HARDLY stopped all day.

 

Well a couple of days respite over the weekend, that made a change, and at the weekend as well

Back to normal today, the forecast light and intermittent showers, turned into one big long shower that is still happening now, 12mm of rain up to now and still counting.
Add to that pretty cold and you're probably getting the idea.

At last my Blackie is being fair by the reports of him sharing his bounty with so many members; I was starting to feel very selfish indeed hogging all the rain.

Our forecasted dry day was wet as usual but this time with dreary drizzle when we drove over to Rothwell this morning and Sheffield this afternoon; the sun put in a brief appearance but I wasn't impressed; much better with my chum Blackie because I'm used to his company.

Tomorrow is definitely forecasted as a workshop day.

It's, ppppppppppp raining again.
So for me another day indoors. Even during my days of employment, I would never work out in the rain, if I could avoid it.

Sorry but although I take climate warming etc seriously, I must admit. Here on our tiny island. The absence of rain along with some dry spell, grouynd, soil drying out and cracking. Headline news. Britain is declared hosepipe ban area. Come on guys. Britain is an island. Surrounded by that wet stuff called water. Hells Bells water can actually be OUR GRAND PROVIDER. I say no more.

 

Ah yes but it can't be used for drinking.

Great picture Snorky; it would make a perfect setting for an old Sherlock Holmes episode.

Blackie's let me down this morning but expected really because I've been inside the workshop out of his way for a change; no doubt if I ventured up the mountain the rain would join me.

WOW though a day in the workshop and I'm making progress learning to TIG weld aluminium.

What a contrast after yesterday! Wall to wall sunshine - back door wide open and no wind whatsoever. 19C on the patio right now and it's amazing,
