          Well, our small Town Council starting putting up the Christmas Lights last week!!!:hate-shocked::gaah: They're going the extra mile, spending money like it's water, and now we've got 3 bulbs instead of the usual 2 for the High Street lights.:dunno::doh:!!!

                Much more accurate to just look out of the window each day. :scratch:

                My bad luck matches our bad weather; I've just driven over to Dewsbury to exchange an argon gas cylinder; when I collected this cylinder I wanted a 20L size but the lady said they don't stock 20L cylinders and if I wanted one she could get one for me in a couple of days so I came away with a 9L cylinder.

                Returning the empty cylinder this time it was a guy and I said to him you don't stock 20L cylinders do you; yes we do I've got four in stock; of course the receipt for the empty cylinder was still at home so it would mean returning home to pick up the receipt. I've now got two 9L cylinders. Refill for the first £60; new cylinder deposit £65 and Argon £60. No doubt next time I visit and take along both empty cylinders with the two receipts I'll have the lady telling me they don't stock 20L cylinders. I could always phone first but in my life this complicates things. :wallbanging::wallbanging::wallbanging::mute:

                        Nice one wiseowl it's nice to see positive for a change. :wow:

                        I'm positive it's perishing up our mountain in the stiff breeze this afternoon; I know because I've been up there with the hoe; now I'm warm indoors the sun is shining. My guardian angel died many years ago being replaced with Blackie & Gale. :wallbanging:

                            Many thanks wiseowl; I'd love to make my own good luck but outside influences keep getting in the way. :)

                            One of my team members at work one day said to me we are all born equal; I replied being born without; legs; arms; sight or hearing isn't being born equal?

                            I'm constantly tormented by Blackie and Gale and can't change this unless we move but then they would only follow. :biggrin:
