After 8 years it is strange reading through this "interview". I have another allotment now and am loving it.

Forgive me but, from the printed page. I personally derive very little as having much significans to gardening or horticulture in general.
The mere fact that you have posted a new thread and entitled it as
          Ask daitheplant

Pray tell me please. So if I ask you a horticultural question. Have you every confidence in providing me with a suitable answer? I look forward to your reply.

@Mike Allen - these "ask me" threads go back a long way in GC history, and are a way for members to get to know each other. There is a description below the sub-forum link that you might not have seen:

Not quite sure, Mike, that I understand that statement. Are you saying you don't give much importance to gardening books or to posts regarding gardening/horticulture?

00000000000000000000000000001348Dr Allen, as I said, I was revisiting a post I made 8 years ago. Now, I get the impression from your comments that I have less horticultural knowledge than you. I may not have the letters behind my name like you, but please don`t underestimate my gardening knowledge. PS, I am also very good at spelling, if you want lessons.

My Dear Friend. I hope that this our relationship on the forum.

I am wondering just why you have raised this question. Originally I posted a comment that you, fair do's disagreed with. I posted an apology and you accepted. So IMO end of subject. I wish you well.
