@Snorky85 the montana may be a bit much for that fence and may also swamp the passionflower unless you keep it cut back regularly.

They can get out of hand pretty quickly. This took only three years!!!

 

Good morning to day in the Aviary.fixing shelves,building indoor flight,connecting digital cut out switches(Lights and heater)

 

We haven't had any substantial snow, Lori, here in West Cheshire since around '93. We've had around half an inch that lasts 24 hours to 48 hours but that's about it
My order for "Allium Purple Rain" arrived today to add to those waiting to be planted in the borders. I'm still waiting for another 6 orders
of Alliums and 4 orders of Fritillarias to arrive so I've decide not to plant the 150 or so Alliums sitting in a box until the rest arrive as things will get a bit dis-organised. I've also got 225 Crocus waiting to be placed in the borders but since they will be planted shallower, and on top of, than the Alliums so they will be the last to be planted. I've also got around 26 or so Hardy Perennials to go in the borders so I'm trying to devise a plan as to where they will go but don't want to plant them until the Alliums and Fritillarias have arrived. I also have to take into account that I've already planted around 400 Tulips in the borders, and have 2 more buckets of last years Tulips and Daffs waiting in the Green House.
I've also ordered 3 Ferns from Blue Bell Nursery in Ashby de la Zouch in South Derbyshire which is only 68 miles away from me, and I intend to visit it next year.
I also have a Blue Bell Nursery only about 8 miles from me tucked down a long, one car width, country lane and I have visited that to find it is a lovely uncommercialised Nursery where it has a great range of Hardy Perennials, and in a tiny Hut you can make yourself a cup of tea or coffee and not that 'orribe machine stuff!! Anyway, I've had a phone call, this morning, from the Blue Bell Nursery in Ashby de la Zouch who said that they'd just sold out of one of the Ferns I'd ordered and they would refund the money. I asked them if they had an alternative and the owner said he would go and look and would call me back. He called me back in 25 minutes and told me he had a Fern that had a different name but looked almost identical to the one I ordered. I have bought from them several times before and they are, the unfortunately slowly vanishing old fashioned type of Nursery that really cares about the plants they sell and the customers they sell to, so I do trust their judgement and I've agreed to place the new Fern in the order as a replacement. Gardening ain't simple these days due to the vast amount of plants on offer by so many sources on line, but I'm lucky that I've found two Nurseries, near and far, that I know worry about the standards of the plants and customer care because that is how they survive as a business.
Now I'm waiting, impatiently, for the outstanding orders to arrive

Hello have fitted all the electrical components in the aviary,put breeding cages horizontally on a new shelf,thought to myself Woo you've been in this aviary for 7 hours now go and have a break,then 3 new interior doors were delivered (Mrs Woo ordered them)so I have removed the old doors and hung the 3 new doors,will cut the old doors in half in the morning and then take them to the recycling center,now I'm cream crackered enjoy your evening my friends
