The Evening Standard has a great headline for tomorrow, which is a pic of Jeremy Corbyn with the line "Turkeys vote for Christmas":heehee::loll::lunapic 130165696578242 5:

One great advantage of the upcoming election is that we'll for six weeks we'll not have all the nonsense squabbling in parliament. It will then be Manifesto Month  :heehee:

I can’t wait to see some more jokes about the coming election :lunapic 130165696578242 5:, they’ve kept me laughing for weeks now! I know I shouldn’t keep laughing but honestly what choice do you have? You get stressed about it or you laugh :dunno:.

Last night at work I was asked ‘Beckie if we vote who should I vote for? I’ve never voted before, & I’m unsure who to trust with my future?!’ I was a bit taken back by this young lad, he has a plan & is saving really hard to get a deposit together for a house, out if everyone he was the last person I expected to ask a question like that :ouch1: I just replied ‘there isn’t a right or wrong person/party to vote for, it’s personal choice....you need to read up on each parties lies & chose which you like best! He laughed & said ‘that’s basically what my grandad said!

I won’t be voting for Corbyn & his merry men for sure. He is an utterly twit....don’t get me started:mad:.
Boris I think could & will take us out he appears to have enough balls to do so.
Lib Dem.....:dunno: I’m not sure if that’s a wasted vote nor do I believe they are really what I voted for :dunno:.
I’m drumming it into everyone’s head that they MUST vote, they must read all literature about every party, they must make a decision. So many people are saying they aren’t going to bother to vote....that’s not good enough, that’s not good for their future or their kids future :yikes:....it’s not hard is it? Read...decide..vote :dunno:.

That’s this mornings views from sleepy suffolk!:heehee: x

It's a very good question as a rule but in this particular year it's down to whether you want to fulfil the referendum result that the UK as a whole voted for. That's irrespective of how you feel about the EU or how 'well off' we will be as a nation.
The tories are the only party committed to respecting that result. The yellows and greens are committed to repealing A50 and staying in the EU, ie ignoring the country's vote which says almost all you need to know about how they treat their commitments, how they think the plebs in to population can't be trusted with their own decisions etc. Labour is simply the biggest mess it has ever been in; my personal feeling is that Corbyn is a commie b*****d, a treacherous wretch that cannot make a decision and will be a resolute disaster while blaming others. He has no plan, will never have a plan and would cock it up if someone gave him a paint by numbers version. Needless to say I won't be voting red either.
As a rule, reds spend the economy into oblivion, blues recover it through spending cuts, rinse and repeat. Yellows make all the promises they like in the full knowledge that they won;t be in a position to be held to account on them.

Of biggest interest to me is that people I've spoken to who have been dyed in the wool, Labour all the way for all time, hate the tories etc are saying that they are inclined (not committing!) to vote conservative simply because of the other parties not honouring the referendum result and that they will not abide.

                            Short version - no.

What we might see is yellows in opposition due to the split on the referendum. Of course there is every interpretation and potential combination conceivably possible but not the reds with a majority.

Just watched the turncoat Chukka Umanna (sp?) blathering on about how many plans Jo Swinson has and trying very indelicately to shoehorn in as many manifesto objectives as possible into a 2 minute interview. Their approach appears to rest wholly on not being blue or red.

Here we go:rolleyespink:....Already started in these parts with the leaflets getting shuvved through the door..
First up the 'wishy washy Libs'..I refuse to call them Democrats because IMHO they are far from Democratic. My apologies 'of sorts' to any Lib supporters but they're not my cup of tea...
Is it wrong to really want a labour Candidate to knock on my door ? I can't wait for the opportunity to politely 'TELL EM WHAT i REALLY THINK'...
