Well, no right minded people, loli, but Mr Trump would look okay in it, along with Corbyn and his Three Stooges on the front bench.:dunno::cat-kittyandsmiley::ouch1:

I mailed my Christmas cards for over the pond today. I don't expect to receive any returns but I felt I "just wanted" to say hello and cheers to those I have an address for.

My Canadian mailing list has been completed, sitting on the front table, postage attached and ready to mail about the 10th of December.

Christmas cake is made. Both types.

And this week I'll start putting out the lights and other outdoor ornaments to have ready to power on December 1st.

I've ironed the yardages of Christmas fabric I have leftover from the past few years so that they are in readiness for the granddaughters and I to make ornaments. And also for jar toppers for my home made cranberry sauces.

The girls will be happy to make gifts for their teachers and parents as we are not a rich family who can buy everything ready made. And DIY teaching is very important to me.

I do not celebrate the religious side of this yearly event but do very much enjoy the fun traditions. And I do wish goodwill to those who believe and I do love Christmas songs. The words don't have to be meaningful, but the tunes are nice and smile provoking. And I do sing along... when alone .... :)

Some of the houses already have the lights up. I put them up in a couple of weeks. I'm not religious but do like the decorations and the atmosphere that it brings. It would be nice to have some snow but it never does at that time. I put the tree up in the conservatory away from the boys, through out the chair in there so got some more space to put something else. Got a small tree,a standing Santa and a reindeer with some animals on it's back large ornament. Got a lot of cotton wool to use as snow and some more lights.

Probably put ours up next week. I use to do them on the 1st but since my Mum passed away I like to celebrate her on her birthday first ( next Tues) , then the following day all my cards get posted and the decorations get done soon after.
