It was a hard vote, as I like to vote for some one that will do good localy but we don't have any, so it was a toss up for some one who likes they're pic'y taken or some one who doesn't even live in the same county :dunno::coffee:

I asked after voting "would there be another GE if the vote is not the right one":coffee:

Just went to vote after work, the rain was bucketing down all the way home and traffic in chaos.
Managed to get there though and put my X in the box.
Trouble is I didn't have my glasses, so I had to hold the voting slip at arms length to read it.

No, Linz, but perhaps you weren't around during the Blair/Brown debacle with Blair as Prime Minister and Brown as Chancellor, and their public raging rows from 1997, until Blair resigned in 2007 when he saw what was coming??. Brown then took over from Blair as Prime Minister immediately after Blair ran for the Hills. Brown then became the most inept Prime Ministers ever seen, until he resigned until 2010. The then outgoing Labour Chancellor left a note for the incoming Tory Chancellor saying "There's no money left" leaving a bankcrupcty UK to face the on coming global recession.:wallbanging:
So if you were around from 1997 until 2010 did you have a brilliant time then??
I was a lifetime Labour voter until around 2005 when we saw what was going on. Blair slithered off leaving Brown holding the bag of snakes to become a very rich ex-Labour Prime Minister touring the World to tell every one, at his very expensive lectures, just what a fine person and Prime Minister he'd been.:gaah:
So nobody enjoyed the last 9 years but at least we who lived through the Blair/Brown disaster know exactly who to blame.
Now along comes Corbyn, and his 3 Stooges, who's going to nationalise everything, make every thing free for you and me!:hapydancsmil: So, why would people want to vote for anyone else, I mean everything will be free and he's completely honest about what he's going to do!!
Well, perhaps just before he and his cronies have spent all the UK's, ours, yours, and Global Lenders money, he'll disappear before raising our taxes to pay for all the free things............perhaps it's because "once bitten, twice shy" applies even more with Corbyn..:dunno::coffee:

I did actually see a "Vote Labour" board outside a house tonight, though must admit, not seen many boards outside houses in this election.
Most of the fields out in the countryside have Conservative boards on display.

Loads of Lib Dem boards around near work, but then it is historically a fairly safe seat for them being Vince Cable's stomping ground. Around my way, there are no boards to be seen, but this is about as Tory as it comes around here. I have been a Labour voter all my life, with the exception of voting Lib Dem and then being utterly duped and getting Tory. This time around, yes I have voted Tory, simply because Corbyn and McDonnell cannot be trusted with anything, and they utterly betrayed all of their voters who happened to also vote leave.

I found it very strange in the run up to the election that on more than one occasion Boris was asked if he can be trusted.
Even some were saying they wouldn't vote for him because he cannot be trusted.

He's a politician, and none of them can be trusted, they all say one thing and then do something totally different when put in power, it's why we are in the situation we are now.

We can only hope that they go someway to upholding their election promises, and the more they promise the less you can trust them.

I fully expect that whichever party win they will absolutely not keep their policy pledges. This is politics and times, situations and world affairs change to influence decisions. If people want to cry about every promise being broken and whine about lies then they need to wise up to the very real job of running a country.

I'm really terrified of the prospect of a labour win, for the first time I have a deep concern over the country should that party win office. I can't see him winning but who knows?!
This is also partly due to having a bunch of party leaders that down to a one, are not up to the job and politics in general being utterly shattered

I can't predict the result but I can predict, fairly confidently, that if we have a hung parliament the pound will plummet. It has gone up quite a bit in the last two weeks because they thought we would be able to do something decisive after the election. That's some wishful thinking but we can hope. :fingers crossed:

The pound will also plummet if Labour win, the uncertainty of a Labour government would not be good.
