Well there we go, it could have been worse; a government with a working majority, so at least we can move forward and maybe get some legislation passed to help the country and it's people rather than endless circular arguments over Brexit.
Oh bother! I forgot even if we leave on Jan 31st (tight timings) we then have at least a year of haggling over the actual deal, plus Scottish referendum and then there is the Irish question again.

Well certainly surprised me that they got such a large majority.
Did conservative win it or did labour lose it .;)

I think it was almost certainly the fact that Labour and the Lib Dems won it for Bumbling Boris.

It wasn't a surprise that our local Conservative MP won by over 14,000 votes (increased majority of over 3,000) although the main town in the constituency, with a population of about 80,000 is predominantly Labour and has always been Labour since the constituency was established in 1974.

Huge majority which gives nowhere to hide :) can't place the blame on parliament with this sort of control so it will be crystal clear if the blues are doing a good job or not.
So relieved it's not a hung parliament!!
So why is that bad smell Corbyn still hanging on? Arrogant b*****d. Well passed the time to overhaul the party. Again.

Democracy in action - message to MPs - do what you are told.

My local MP, who consistently voted to delay Brexit - has lost his seat.

This was in effect another brexit referendum.

                  Go Boris go.

Yep! Two days manic work then a breather for Christmas... Hopefully by which time the reds will have replaced their chief pillock.

If only I still had shares!
Next ongoing topic for us then is the labour leader contest. Corbyn says he's staying put until the new leader is appointed which in his opinion is "responsible" rather than admitting he's at fault and should get the heck out the way for new blood and ideas.
Herr Starmer will be in it presumably; he has one of those expressions that comes across, to me, as never listening and thinking you're in the wrong. It does not inspire me!

Simply because he's an agitator and that has been the labour partys downfall, the prat is still going to drag his resignation out,he just can't help himself..Grrrr...

I'm just grateful that JC has been brought to his knees,he's brought the labour party to it's knees but thank God he didn't get the chance to bring our country to it's knees.

                                Cracking result BOJO..:yahoo:
