Apparently Corbyn said he was going to hang around for a while and reflect on the situation.
I heard a quote from one labour MP, "Ok I have reflected, now go"

Sounds like the EU are starting to close ranks and become difficult yet again.

Is it bad that the cherry on the cake for me was finding out that Jo Swinson lost her seat?

I find it strange that she had to resign because she lost her seat.

Am I wrong in thinking Sturgeon doesn't even have a seat?

Just been watching Question time on the BBC.
Some strange accents coming from the audience, seems most are not from the UK.
              Typical BBC.

She had to resign because she's no longer an MP. She's just an ordinary member of the public who now needs to look for a job.

Nicola Sturgeon isn't the leader of the SNP in Westminster as she is not an MP. Ian Blackford is the SNP Leader at Westminster.

Yep, I was looking at that for a time, but I wasn't worried about the number of accents more of the seeming majority of people seemingly still steaming at the result and wanting to accuse Boris of everything they could think of. Plus a SNP MP not able/wanting to answer if there was a plan B when Boris turned down their request for another referendum because they didn't like the result of the first one......that sounds like another referendum we had back in 2016 where that result wasn't liked, so there was a call for another referendum to get the result that they wanted.:wallbanging:

Right OK, so why cant Swinson not be leader of the lib /dems in westminster but still be leader of the lib/dem party?

I think we are yet again seeing double standards applied.

The SNP got 4% of the vote but something like 50 or so seats, it's ridiculous.

Because Nicola Sturgeon is the leader of the SNP in Scotland where she is an MP, in the Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh.

John Swinson has no role to play at all in the LibDems.

                            Think it's called Westminster...

Given the very clear result and whopping majority I'm a bit fed up with seeing the outpouring of grief about the Tory win. This, despite everything, is what the majority of people wanted so give them some time to get going
