I can spend time in the workshop during our very long dreary winter always finding something interesting to do; metal and woodwork; metal spinning; woodturning and furniture making just to name a few; if only our climate were better I could do so much more.

Cold at 5C but not raining YET.

A storm arrived last night covering all of Portugal. It was a wet and noisy night. Currently 14c. We may be wet now right up to Christmas. No complaints here as we haven't seen much rain in well over two years so it is welcome.

Will just have to occupy ourselves indoors. Small tree is up in foyer, a modern spiral light tree outdoors, a few tasteful pine decorations in the lounge and lights indoors and outdoors so we will enjoy them and keep dry by the fire.

 

Not a bad day to come may get some rain this evening. We're out all day today so as long as it remains dry during daylight hrs that fine by me!

 

Rain early, now just total overcast and not a bit of wind to dry things up.

Well, we got up to 31f. So the slush from the weekend is still hard ice. And I just read that our low this coming Wednesday overnight will be 0 f Yes -18C. Since I'm older than @pete Christmas decorations, how can I NOT be used to this. Guess I'll have to dig out my jumper and scarf

Light rain with light winds today, but still thankfully very mild. We've been turning the heating off recently too.
