That stop for 3 hours twas like a spring day with nice sunshine, it didn't last long as tis now waining again

 

What is there to say apart from...horrendous!
Weather warnings are still active until Sunday night, rain has been virtually non stop since yesterday afternoon. My niece came over to collect me in her car this morning and couldn't believe how flooded our lane is. It was even reported on national radio news this morning that our train station was closed due to flooding!!

Popped over to see my Dad this morning and have to say the duck looked happy......think we could all do with a pair of webbed feet!

 

Not often I can say this @Retired but your weather for the next few days looks pretty tame compared to ours!!

 

Snap @wiseowl , but we have only reached the heady high of 53F at 2pm, after this it's all downhill!

Yes it does look grim for you Upsy but how would you like it the year round?

I've just been out in the car and the car was reading 11C which is a summers day temperature for us so not complaining; the heavy rain is just arriving; I'm happy though with a nice session in the workshop this morning and I'm just having a mug of tea then another workshop session but I might need a lamp in order to find the workshop.

I made these this morning; they are "third hands" for positioning parts to be welded; they are too hot to handle but I'll be able to finish them off now.



What's this got to do with weather? Well I'm being forced into the workshop against my will because as usual the weather is dire.

 

Oh I agree @wiseowl .

My poor friend lives in Coogee Bay and is asthmatic and is really struggling at the moment with both the heat and air quality.

 

@Retired ...to be honest I could definitely do with ( a little) more rain in the summer months....count your blessings you have lush grass and plants!
We have brown straw for grass and droopy flowers and don't start me on how hard our clay soil gets!!

But hey on the whole we are all very fortunate over here.
