        Hi,

I'm not complaining about my pet cloud Blackie or his sister Gale adopting me because I have a wonderful workshop to enjoy myself in as I've done today. :dbgrtmb:

We too have friends in Australia in NSW & Brisbane who constantly inform us of their continuing drought conditions; yes indeed Blackie then is most welcome which is just as well considering the amount of time he spends with us; pity though we can't share the weather. I feel deeply saddened for everyone suffering extremes of weather from flood to fire neither of which are pleasant.

I've just come out of the workshop; it's been pouring with rain but I hadn't been aware of it. :)

Thanks Logan; I've just been finishing them off and I've been spending time preparing aluminium blanks to practice TIG welding on. It feels very warm today compared to the freezing conditions over the last few days.

        Kind regards, Colin.

Third hands ready for work. A nice project for today.

Aluminium blanks cut and fettled ready for TIG welding practice; it's been a brilliant day today and I didn't need to water the gardens. :)

Rain during the night with high winds but things had calmed down by early morning. The top temperature was 50f with cloud covered skies and rain during the day giving, so far, 4.5mm of rain.
Right now the temperature is 49f, it's dry but the winds have picked up a little, and the pressure reading is 967hpa.:cat-kittyandsmiley::coffee:

Well yesterday started out misty, then sunny in the Welsh Marches. But by the afternoon, we had high winds and rain.

Today has just been ‘orrible! Driving rain, and wind, and wind, and rain. Oh, and wind....

The temperature rose overnight and this morning the snow was gone. A lovely sunny Spring day, the sky was almost clear of cloud and not a twitch in the trees. 8C/46F

Very bizarre here, 17c earlier going to 18c. Never seen day/night temps so close in winter but have seen 5-7c difference a few times in the summer over the years. our storms (very bad up North) fizzle out today/tomorrow then back to normal. A few floods and mudslides between us and nearest village (6 kms).

                            Hi,

We have cats every day Upsy; already this morning we've had Ruby; Harvey; Dudley; Gruffalo and Aspros; all neighbours cats keeping "option B" open to them; no doubt others will soon follow; we can't open a door other than a furry missile shoots in; I think it fair to say we're cat lovers. Enjoy your cats Upsy. :dbgrtmb:

I've just done the usual three supermarket shopping and it's been horrible; Morrison's not too bad but Aldi and Home Bargains already parking problems; the best thing I like about Christmas is seeing the back of it. I've little to complain about though considering what it's going to be like for the poor souls involved in fires and flooding around the world.

                            Disasters make good news but a week after each one the circus moves to another town leaving victims to suffer; it's flooding which affects the UK and here's the latest near us that is still ongoing;

The flooding in Fishlake – a photo essay

We have friends in Australia under real threat of fire due to ongoing drought conditions; I feel sorry for all victims.:sad::sad:

                            Kind regards, Colin.

Just popped home for a quick lunch before going to friends this afternoon .
Lane is still flooded and we now have a stream pouring along our lane and by our house.
Briefly dry this morning for a while but now pouring down once again.

By the way despite what the critics have said..we though Cats was brilliant and as usual brought more than one tear to my eyes.:dbgrtmb:
