Surprisingly there are a few things in full bloom:
Anisodontea el Royo still doing its thing (sorry it's blurred)

Strangely, lilac ipheion in full bloom, but not the blue one.

No-one else seeing anything this month?
Well here are a very early narcissus, Kniphofia Christmas Cheer and Grevillea - maybe Mt Tamborithra (the label has fallen off). The narcissus is at National Botanic Garden of Wales, where I also saw a geum valiantly flowering NarcissusEarly.jpg GrevilleaQueryTamborithra.jpg KniphofiaChristmasCheer3.jpg

Same here. Especially surprising when I consider the total neglect that my plants have suffered the last few months!

An Aloe noid in the unheated (and at the moment unisnsulated) greenhouse..............
            DSC_0612.jpg

Also in the greenhouse is Isoplexis canariensis............
            DSC_0617.jpg

            Salvia lasiantha............
            DSC_0615.jpg

Outdoors on some staging by the house I have a small Plectranthus 'Mona Lavender'...........
            DSC_0618.jpg

That is really surprising as the ones in the greenhouse are all fried by the frosts! Also outdoors I can see the first signs of flower stems on my Cymbidium 'Ice Cascade'.............

Not a lot of opportunity to get out, at the moment, and take photos of a wind battered rain drenched. Will try and do better at the weekend.

Hi @NigelJ does Mahonia Lomarifolia have the lily of the valley perfume like some others?

@wiseowl - not only are primroses early but I have a camellia starting early too. Very odd.
