We usually have dinner at about 3pm
But Christmas day it's earlier and today back to normal. We're in bed at about 11.15 pm before then we snooze downstairs.

Since hubby had retired it's been like that and having the boys.:)

:heehee:....Our early starts started with our boys too......( I know you mean your dogs:blue thumb:)

Talking to my niece yesterday she was complaining that they had to wake my great nephew up at 8:15.
We had no such luck everyday our 'boys' we're always up and ready for mischief making by 6am.....no matter what day it was.

Hey ho.....wouldn't have wanted it any other way! :)

My TV died over Christmas, so have looking online to buy a new one and get the old one taken away. Currys/PC World will only take the old one away providing its one of the very large ones Argos don't offer that service.
I don't have a car at the moment so can't take the old one to the tip.

Hi Mike, no they won't. I'll look on the Council website to see if they do special collections, I'm happy to pay for this service.

I think the standard charge might be around £20, John, and they usually give you
a date for pickup separate to the Bin Collection. Happy New Year, by the way!!:cat-kittyandsmiley::coffee:

Churned and vanilla ice cream and mad butterscotch ripple using my own recipe for butterscotch. Ate too many cookies whilst combining what remains two big trays into one. Made a heavy flannel storage case for one of the leaves to my new table. Decided I'd probably only ever store one as I like the look with one in.

And listenening to old movies with people stranded in jungles awaiting the cannibals to get them :heehee:

Then outside... and will continue over to what I did in the garden :)

@ARMANDII it's gone past oh no, to "one of you needs to get off to receive an accurate reading"

And everyone is coming back on New Years day for a brunch. Ham, bacon, breakfast potatoes, eggs, toast, pancakes, coffee, tea and orange juice, with or without Vodka. So I'm hoping they'll have some more of those cookies whilst here else I'll have to sneak it into one of their vehicles. I don't mind the grandchildren going home and getting all sugared up once in awhile.

Yesterday went to see Keith as usual.
I like to indulge at Christmas, i know that i will lose the weight that I've put on over the festive season, because of all the walking that i do.
