I waited until the exact time that we were to see it at it's best ( here it was 19:17) and tried to take a pic...but it was awful!!

To be completely honest (don't tell anyone ) not a lot! Having a cuppa and a slice of cake
Hubs is debating what to cook for our dinner.

Thinking about phoning up my older sister to see if she wants to see a DVD that a friend has lent us, the film came out earlier this year and we missed it 'Fishermen's Friends'.

I do however had a huge pile of ironing to do as well.

Might have a potter in the garden this afternoon but I've had an iffy back this week and after a busy day at my Dad's yesterday it is a bit grumbly today.

So I think I just see how things go........

Thanks ,I'm Ok apart from my bad back my spine feels like a rod of steel at the moment but hopefully it will loosen up as the day progresses.

It's a lovely morning here, sunshine and blue skies so I think I'll go out for a walk.

Hi all sorry I’m very late, I promise I’ve not been in bed all day

didn’t sleep much last night, my hubby watched football at the pub last night then went for more drinks later in a empty stomach, let’s just say the birds where singing when he came home and he’s hung over today .

 

Oh dear .. I think it's you that has earned my commiserations!!

Good day,
Just realized that I have been MIA here because of being busy with all of the delightful and exciting chores I've been wiping off my to do list. The joy of putting away clean clothes after having run up and down two sets of stairs to access the washer and dryer for 5 loads worth and then the ecstasy of running the vacuum and swabbing the floors. And follow that up with cleaning the loos.

Luckily I did have a visitor yesterday to give my conscience a break from making me feel guilty if I didn't get things done.

It is a lot cooler here today (26f) and the sun is brilliant. My batteries are happily gobbling up whatever the solar panels are sending them.

And I plan on doing no more chores today. I'm going to visit some friends and then later raise a glass to the birthday boys @strongylodon and @JWK. Cheers

Good morning all, Shiney I could live in your summerhouse its the size of a small bungalow. I am told it has just started raining that's about right as soon as I am about to walk Amber it starts. Just have to get wet again I guess. Have a good day all.
