                      Hi Caroline :) yes, every year there are a few blue ones that are much earlier than the pink A. coronaria. It gives a bit of variation from endless pink in January, even if they're not the 'Lord Lieutenant' they're supposed to be :biggrin:

                          Some of our violets have started flowering. I only noticed them the other day as I was digging them out. For small plants they're certainly tough to get out and they spread like mad. They're becoming one of the most prolific weeds in the garden :hate-shocked:. They look nice but smother other plants and cause havoc amongst the snowdrops.
