Good day
I slept in this morning. Until 8. I haven't done that in 30 years! My granddaughter and I stayed up late last night chatting and this old gal isn't used to that. Her train came in 4 hours late so everything was delayed. Supper, chats etc.

The skies are looking a little bluer today. Hopes for seeing the yellow thing

We're going to go out to do a little shopping later and a lady is selling me her Breadman bread machine - for only $20!!! She only used it a couple of times and didn't feel that it was what she wanted after all so I get this really great deal. The ones I have now are the exact same model so when one dies, I'll just slide this one into it's place.

I should be potting up some of my seedlings in soil blocks but am too sluggish. Oh well, a couple of cuppas and the news will get my motor running.

@wiseowl sorry to hear you have a stiff neck but flying sideways will give you another look at the left and right side of issues today

It is still dark here so I don't know if it is cloudy or not and I haven't really look that hard to note if it is anyway. I'm thinking I should get some of the seedlings in the soil blocks potted up today. No more procrastinating. The good part is that the one station is re running a couple of Midsomer episodes this morning and I can listen to them whilst playing about with soil.

For the moment though, I will finish reading this morning's newspapers and listening to Good Day New York. I like to read/hear about what's going on in more than just my own back yard.

It is just getting light and I can see that we have grey skies again. It is up to nearly 20f so another mild day. The recycle bins are at the end of the driveway and until they are emptied by the town, I'll keep adding items as I go through the day. It's nice having my collection day on a Friday. Clear out before the weekend

Got lots to do indoors so it doesn't really matter to me what's happening out there. Granddaughter and I are going to have a go at making slider buns. I've never had much success with that shape but maybe she will bring me luck today.

We, the Caucasian segment of the population, keep getting cautioned not to feel any prejudice against people who look Chinese during this coronavirus alert period and to not panic. I got quite annoyed with an acquaintance repeating this nonsense. Apparently the masks have sold out at pharmacies and anywhere else one might find them but I have not seen one Caucasian wearing a face mask so how could we be perceived as the ones panicking? Silliness everywhere!

My mustang battery died again so I hooked up a solar panel to try to trickle charge it. If that doesn't work, I'll have to give in and get a new battery. I won't be doing that until later next week after my granddaughter goes back up north though.

Now, back to reading the news.
