Good morning all, Thank you @shiney and @Flumpy for your birthday wishes. You are the first to greet me with birthday wishes. Steve got up, got himself a cup of tea and breakfast and just left just saying Goodbye he has obviously either forgotten the date or that it is my birthday. Oh well never mind.

Lovely start to the day! Bright sunshine here and watching the birdies outside....woody has paid a visit first thing. I can't tell whether woody is a he or a she....so I will be googling that shortly.
2 bobbins are fighting and being territorial about the food I've put on the ground for them...I put several piles of food around the border to stop the fighting. We used to have about 5 or 6 robins and they would never fight, but I guess they were a family and now they are adult.

It's a little breezier today, so will wrap up warm when I go outside and carry on sorting out the front garden. Hopefully the horror neighbour won't turn up today. Planning decision due on 10th feb....not much longer to go. Fingers crossed.

Still pitch here so I have no idea if it is cloudy or clear. I've got a busy day ahead of me. My client witht he outdoor cushions called me yesterday to tell me that she wants them this weekend so I've got to pick up the foam for the seat cushions today which is up at a warehouse near the airport and then cut the slabs to size. I also have a seminar to attend regarding the Pantone colour of the year and it's complimentary shades. And it is granddaughter's last day in town so I want to spend time with her before she leaves.

Foggy start to the day!

Hope the wind has died down after yesterday. Hoping to do a bit more weeding out the front as yesterday I only managed to trim a bit of the cotoneaster and transfer some clay and soil out of some trough into the front outside border.

Just watching the birdies out the front window now.

I've only had time for a couple of sips of tea and I must get out the door to take my granddaughter to the train station for her journey home - about 20 hours on the return trip for her!

Then I've got to work. Got to get the foam for these cushions cut and luckily I remembered to buy some silicone for the foam saw so hopefully the cutting part will go smoothly.
