WHATS YOUR WEATHER LIKE 2020

The weather here is windy with the occasional flurry of snow.

 

Snow! Crikey! Although that wind is bitterly cold so I'm not surprised.

It's been sunny here this morning. Had an early appointment in Aylesbury (20 mins from me) and there were loads of trees down on the way in...lots of old oak trees. Really sad, but they must have been unstable or rotten looking at them.

Unfortunately the evil neighours polytunnels didn't blow away. I just hope they themselves have. lol

 

After last nights thunder and lightening show the winds have eased today to around 45mph gusts but turned bitterly cold and it's been trying to snow but nothing to write home about ,the sky is looking ominous though

 

Friends who have
a home 5 minutes from us who are currently in Derby said it is snowing there, wishing they were back here!

Thanks for the good wishes. He had to cut out two roots next to each other and did one continuous stitch equal to 5 or 6 he said. Suture out next Monday. He is so gentle and funny. When he greeted us he said "Hello, ready for pain?" When he finished (about 40 minutes) I said there was no pain so he said "Good, tell me in advance next time and I will cause some." and tweaked my nose! When he was working he kept asking how I was and kept petting my nose like you would a cat! Cost was 130 Euros. He is doing a Root Canal on 9 March on the other side so I have a double appointment (1-1/2 hours) so he can do it in one go.

Back to the weather, it is 21c and wall to wall sunshine.

A day of snow showers driven on a strong wind with sunny breaks in between. It hasn't really settled today with the temperature at 3C/37F and sun helping to thaw it. More to come as the week progresses and another similar windy battering on it's way next weekend.

Another nice day on the cards today ... and for the foreseeable future, so I guess winter is going to bypass us. We really need some rain and some cooler weather for a wee while.
