      Who is woo? I was looking for an Austin rose called summer song, but cannot find it anywhere

        Hi @Cuttings , " Woo " is the name that a lot of us who know him call Wiseowl .

        He truly is an expert Rosarian, if he doesn't know it, or is able to find out about it then it"s not worth knowing

          Introduced in United Kingdom by David Austin Roses (UK)in 2005 as 'Summer Song'.
          Shrub. English Rose Collection.
          Orange blend. Strong, fruity, tea fragrance. Average diameter 3.75". Large, very full (41+ petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters, old-fashioned bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
          Tall, bushy, upright. Medium, semi-glossy, dark green foliage.
          Height of 4' (120 cm). Width of 3' (90 cm).

            I dont stock DA roses anymore, and shopping around nobody stocks it near me, tried a couple of times online, but couldnt find it, its one of my favourites, you can smell it the otherside of the garden.

              It sounds like a wonderful rose....

              My MiL loved roses, and loved the summertime. She passed away last autumn. I’m seriously thinking of trying to track this down as a tribute plant to her.
