    Have to make the most of today's sunshine as I've just checked the forecast.:yikes: We have a weather warning in place from just after midnight for Friday and Saturday for heavy rain and then also a weather warning for Saturday and Sunday for strong winds.Not looking forward to that!!:nonofinger:

      The snow ended up forming an inch layer on the cars but virtually nothing on the ground. A quick touch of the wipers removed it immediately. About 1 p.m. the sun came out and lasted the rest of the day. Frost expected tonight.

        A real mixture of a day with a top temperature of 43f. There was little breeze early on in the day, but the skies covered a range of pure blue, partially cloudy, fully cloudy, light grey to black.......but no rain. The winds picked up during the afternoon but have dropped back again Right now the temperature is 33f , it's dry and still, with a pressure reading of 1001hpa.:cat-kittyandsmiley::coffee:

            It's still snowing here and was quite heavy this morning, it then thaws quite a bit when the sun appears. The forecast says more to come for the next week, 2C/36F.

              An uncle of mine, who lived in Scotland, used the word quite a lot. A tarn is similar but can get a little bigger. :)

                              We've gone from grey skies early this morning to blue with just a few puffs of cloud. It has gone up tp 22f and we've been promised another sweltering 3f by this afternoon.

                              Then back into the deep freeze.
