A very humble apology.

Welcome back - albeit from a very, very short break

 

Good morning @Mike Allen we all take a break from time to time my friend so no apology needed,sometimes real life can get in the way

 

Mike, you should only take your Cap off when in front of a Lady or indoors and, since you've never left the fold, not in this case, especially as we are all equal on this forum.

Mike, believe it or not, there are a quite a few of the GC Gang who are in the same boat and that's partly why GC is here. So you are not alone, my friend

Mike, it wasn't a criticism, merely that new members asking a question can get bewildered when unused to our brand of GC humour. So, in answering problem cases for new members we try not to confuse the new gardeners with a rich diet of humour and, I think, everyone knows I am one of the main culprits of teasing, joking, and an overrun of humour.
PM or Open?, would you have been offended less if I had pm'd you?, my friend, I think probably not. Besides, although I have more faults than others, I try to be open and honest, which is why I used the Open Forum.
Stay with GC, Mike, and all of your friends of which one of them is me

 

No idea what I have missed here (sorry folks, I have been somewhat lacking in the attention span department this past few weeks, mostly due to pain), however I would echo the sentiments here @Mike Allen - I think we all get a little fed up from time to time (I get fed up of myself most of the time, so I can only imagine how fed up Mrs C must be of me! ), and that may lead to us taking a day or three away from the forum once in a while. As long as you return after the break, then all is good.

I've known our @ARMANDII a lot of years now, and have known his kindness on many occasions, and for sure I can say that he would never intentionally offend; likewise, I have seen first hand your kindness @Mike Allen (I still have your gift of that wee bay tree in a nice pot on my patio) and know that you too would never intentionally offend; I further know that both of you are men of the utmost integrity.

You haven't left the fold, you aren't leaving the fold and hopefully you can put up with us lot on here for a bit of company once in a while.
