        @Victoria ,

        Aha,..that's a jump higher at least,..just now i have 2,4G which comes through the phone line,..the new provider will give 100 Mb and its only 35 euro per month for 12 months then it goes to 50 euro's per month which is still cheaper than what i pay now which is 52.98 euro.

                Hi Sheal,
                she loves to paddle but is hopeless at swimming,..its the wee feet,..feet go at top speed with hardly any progress,..i was wary of her wading into the Canal thinking it was the same level as where she was on the pathway.

                      It is a good idea, but unfortunately my eye issues mean I have problems with brightness and darkness, which makes it very difficult for me to read what's on a black page. I discovered recently there is a 'night time' option in the settings of my computer which dulls down the brightness but I'm yet to try it out. Meanwhile my screen brightness is reduced to 25%.

                        @Sheal ,

                        Ah yes i can see where you are coming from with the seeing what's on a black page,..that 'Night Time' option is also good,..i found that when making up a video and checking images up to 100 at times my eyes were getting tired and so i went for the darker or dimmer screen,..its helped quite a lot,..anything is better that the glaring white,..your screen brightness reduced to 25% will certainly help your eyes,..i found i needed glasses last year :nerd:

                          I couldn't use it. What I dislike is grey writing on a white background ... what is that all about? :hate-shocked: Also, whilst sort of on this subject, why do they have to put directions/ingredients on items in 6pt except to cram in as many languages as possible! :what:

                            I tried the night time option late yesterday but that is no use for me either, it creates a pink glow for me even with adjustments to it. The webmaster of another forum I use has been a great help for me and a few others. He has set up an option where the pages are light to mid grey instead of white, still using a black font. That has made a big difference. Even now looking at this white page with my brightness reduced is hard work. I have had glasses for some years but unfortunately it's not possible to produce lenses that would solve my problem. New eyes would fix it though! :biggrin:

                            No offence meant @Victoria but I struggle to read your coloured font on this white background.

                              @Victoria,..@Sheal,..it makes one think about how we presume everyone views what is in front of them as we do,..when out walking i see so much that others miss and its not that others couldn't see due to bad eyesight its just that they don't focus on what is in front,..its just one big view.

                              Lol Victoria i have to use a magnified glass to read some instructions/ingredients,..so you are not alone.

                              I can make out two different faces in the big stone i found in the river,..the streak is of late,..plant stem.
