It's quite mild, (48f), and there's very little breeze, so it's just a quiet, grey, occassionally raining day. Right the daylight is fading and the evening is approaching with a pressure of 983hpa.:cat-kittyandsmiley::coffee:

Still steady rain, every thing is now sodden, at least it's slowing the traffic down because of the flooding :yay:

So we are getting storm Jorge apparently named by the Spanish weather authorities.

Why are they naming a storm that is about 1,500 miles away from Spain?

Ahh, maybe its because it will affect their fishing grounds:lunapic 130165696578242 5:

Ooooo, shall I retaliate? No, I'll bide my time until May when we meet Mr @ARMANDII .:heehee:

The forecast promised a grey but calm day and the temperature was 5C/41F. Well it started out that way, but by mid afternoon snow started falling again, 1C/34F.

@ARMANDII I usually take note of your pressure readings but my local forecast uses mb. Would you know if there's a conversion chart available for the two please?

Do you want a quick lesson in Quantum Mechanics first, or do you want to skip the easy bit?:doh:

"Millibar (symbol mb or mbar) is a meteorological unit of pressure equal to one-thousandth of a bar. ... 1000 hPa are equal to 1000 mbar, which is equal to 750 mm of mercury in a barometric column, which is 0.987 of the average atmospheric pressure, which on global average is 1013 millibars or hectopascals."
