    Ooh, they are pretty. I think it is too dry here for them.

    I have two of these winging their way to me from Spain, rootings plus picture of mother plant. Clivia x Crytanthiflora

      @Victoria ,

      Congrats on the new Clivia Bulbs,..though they are more plant now,..very beautiful bloom and more elongated than my blooms,..i see the start of smaller bulbs starting i hope they are left there as in time you will have an increase in stock,..well done getting those.

      Those Hellebore i posted are supposed to be a Woodland Plant but they grow in areas that have dabbled shade,..i know some grow in Majorca and Italy and there is one named 'Spanish Flare',..though its probably named after its appearance rather than its location.

      My brain is addled,..i uploaded pictures from camera to computer,..searched and searched after looking at them,..just can not find them grrrrrr,..possibly down to Cabin Fever.

            @Victoria ,

            There are two more but they were very small cuttings to begin with but i think they will come through,..had i left them on the parent plants they would not have survived the Autumn and Winter,..between those and the cuttings from Foxgloves i will need to make lots of space.

              Hellebore 'niger',..as the plant gets older it produces a pink colour instead of the usual pure white.

                For quite a few years two Wild Pigeons,..or as we call them Wood Quest,..roost in the trees beyond the end of my garden,..they roost there the entire year even building a nest and produce their young,..they feed on the dark Ivy Berries during the Summer.

                As i see them every day its interesting to watch their habits,..one arrives in the evening around 45 mins before the other,..then they snuggle up so close one would think it was one bird,..they remain in that position until sunrise.

                The one that arrives first waits in the Ivy at the end of the garden,..then they fly to a higher point in the tree,..i often wonder where they go during the day,..seeing they don't come home to roost at the same time,..today i thought one had gone astray as it turned up 1 hour late.

                  Lovely photos. One of our "neighbours" used to keep pigeons but they (the neighbours) are now deceased but we still have a lot of pigeons around.

                      They come and visit my front garden and meet up with friends during the day. :biggrin: Sometimes I have four pairs here together picking over the lawn.

                        Well captured image,..i call those 'Doves',..though i am always confused as young Pigeons are called 'Doves' and then i think there are actual 'Doves',..i missed class on this subject,
                        i presume your Pigeons are the offspring of your deceased neighbours Pigeons with a few wild ones joining them.

                            They are a very beautifully marked bloom,..i am informed that the experts in many countries are still doing a study as to why and how so many 'Mimulis' differ in markings apparently there are a vast amount yet all of the same species,..yours more than likely just faded away.

                            Thanks for going back to view earlier posts,..it encourages me to remain with Gardeners Corner :hapflowers2:,..my previous Forum was with BBC Gardeners World Magazine,.. i loved it but there seemed to be no rules lol.
