          A friend only 2 years older than me, but with health issues, has been phoned by the local surgery and told to avoid public places.

          Don't know if this is a just a local or UK wide initiative.

                        My guess is that it's under-reported in those sorts of countries - they also don't have adequate health care systems to test for it. Look at Iran it's one of the highest rates of infection but to begin with they played it down.

                                I will....we've had 8 so far and 3 are only a couple of miles away. Don't think I'll be going on my couple of times a month cinema visits for a while.

                                A case today was a member of staff from our Hospital who worked in the High Dependency Unit!!! Really must talk my Dad into cancelling his appointment there next week.
