They seem to be doing a really good job of creating hysteria and panic.
What would go on if we had another war I hate to think.

I'm more fed up with it than I was with Brexit, can we change the record please?

20yrs ago they would have just said there's a nasty cough and and flu going around so if you get it stay inside and keep warm.

If we had to self isolate we could order essentials from Tesco home delivery or Amazon, but how will older folk manage if they are on their own without help or the internet ?

Some people are worried as we had over 30 fewer people at our bridge club yesterday. Not too surprising as the average age at the club must be around 80. We usually get around 80 people turning up so it's a fairly high percentage drop in numbers.

As there's very little left and in very few shops, you would have to keep driving round all the shops in all your local towns to stand a chance of getting enough to stockpile (get any?), increasing risk of exposure to infection.

                      Sommat else I'm not 'getting'...

I've spoken to several folk today who are understandably concerned but seem to be waiting for instructions from 'the government' !!!!
If anyone is that worried then use your noddle and self isolate...

One of the main possible culprits of being a Covid 19 trap, in my opinion, is the handles of Shopping Trollies . So, now, I carry around in my Jacket pocket a small sponge, soaked in neat Disinfectant, in a plastic bag with which I swab any Shopping Trolley handle I'm about to use. My original intention was to use a Flame Thrower but it might have a detrimental effect on the Shopping Trolley so I abandoned that idea:dunno::cat-kittyandsmiley::coffee:

Trying not to overthink the situation.
Spent the morning in Cambridge quite busy in John Lewis ,plenty of hand sanitisers around AND blokes are washing their hands well in the loo.
Many other shops empty ,it’s a disaster for them as if things weren’t bad enough already.
Noted nine people wearing masks around the City.
Tried to purchase zink tablets , as I am a believer ..(no Pete not that zink).
I am a big believer in vitamin C and Zink for cold and Coronavirus prevention........:fingers crossed::fingers crossed::fingers crossed:

It’s all a bit of a bloody nuisance......but keep calm and carry on......we will get through it.:spinning:

Just come back from morrisons, cant say it looks much different than usual, apart from a depleted stack of toilet rolls near the doors.
                            There was plenty of beer.:ccheers:

I'm guessing they are doing there best to rise to the stupidity of stockpiling and getting in larger stocks.
While I was there I was kind of thinking of something I could fill my trolley with in an attempt to start a stampede.:lunapic 130165696578242 5:

My main problem with shopping trolleys is the morons who use them for litter bins.
It's getting harder and harder to find one that's not full of discarded junk left behind by the previous user.
Banana skins being my biggest hate.
