    Off to top up on fruit and fresh veg this morning :fingers crossed:, thankfully we don't need potatoes as I've heard they are in short supply in some shops now.

    Hey ho....that's life,for the foreseeable future I suppose.

        Good day
        I've just filled the water containers for the capillary watering in the basement and all of the seedlings down there are still happy. I haven't been able to see how the ones in the greenhouse are doing since I put them out there yesterday as it is still mostly dark and I don't feel like going out through the 22f air to get to it. The temperature in there is keeping at 47f according to the thermometer receiver. :phew:One freezing night done, 4 more to go before the temps are to be just above 32f at night :blue thumb:

        I need to go out today so will see what the local stores look like during these times of panic led by the many village idiots we have here.

          I too work in a chemist and our phone is constantly ringing because people over 70 now want everything delivered from us because of the Coronavirus, I feel sorry for our drivers :sad:
          I know some surgeries have an app or website you can order your scripts on, hope you get it sorted :dbgrtmb:

            Aloha everyone,

            I took Mrs Shiney for her 60 mile round trip to the acupuncturist - no crowds or waiting as it is one in one out. I popped into Morrisons a couple of minutes walk away and bought some lovely mangoes that had been reduced by 50%. Just had one and it was fantastic. I also bought some chicken thighs and shall make a curry.

            I've just been out to the local garden centre and was the only person there. I didn't have to go inside as the woman was outside and said "do you want your usual 3 bags of compost?". Two minutes later I was on my way with them.

            Before I do the cooking I'm going to do some gardening. :thumbsup:

              Shiney did you see any empty shelves in Morrisons? It took me two days to get one pack of toilet rolls here :rolleyespink:

                Town was spookily quiet in the actual big shopping complex, Costa had hardly any customers.

                No loo rolls here @Flumpy , my sister was on the lookout for some too.

                        God knows Woo, I just can't understand it, my original thought was at first that families with children might be buying them to double up as tissues for catching sneezes and for blowing noses.....not so sure now!.
