        I had tried to reply about @pete 's post about adding more tonic/quinine to his G&T but for some reason the original referred to quote didn't show. Probably user error ! :)

        And I haven't had a drop of the Tank in 20 years and it has been safe ever since for males of my age to roam the streets after dark :heehee:

          Last Friday we only had 70 people with the virus,..this Friday its rose to 557 plus there are 77 in the Six Counties,..its certainly moving fast now.

            We were posh, we had torn up old telephone directories as dad worked from home and needed a phone and the directories. :heehee: He had a stack of pre-war directories. They would probably have been worth something at auction nowadays. :doh:

                Garden waste collections cancelled (don't use it), no reason given but assume to prioritise household waste collections due to staff shortages (plus more waste with more people at home?), and assume this will be nationwide.

                  I've checked online and ours is still scheduled as normal but some are cancelled elsewhere. Not sure how they will collect kitchen waste etc. in those areas. In our area they go in the same bin.

                        As I am old and have a serious health issue I am now living in total isolation. I am on a small Irish offshore island and islands here get no help from the mainland so have set up a supply line with the mainland now. Two other islands have declared total isolation and barred visitors .I am in permanent isolation and live very very quietly and as at peace as is possible. My "faith family" work with the very poor in Canada and India and they are in dire straits now. My "job" is to do as I am doing. Not fret about what I can do nothing about.                           We're on a poo tank, so if it's blocks tis my fault and will have to unblock it myself, sorry not my fault but all the panic buyer's as no bog rolls but should get 1 pack when we go shopping (our weekly shop) next week
