Corona Virus Treatment

Hello all

I hope you are all well.

I managed to get a Sainsbury Delivery delivered this morning at 07:30 .

Needless to say that 16 of the 22 items I ordered were not available and they were the important food items.

Unfortunately, due to my Autism I am not able to get to the shops as I struggle, badly, around people so how I am going to cope is questionable at the moment as I rely on the Deliveries.

Sainsburys have said they are going to prioritise deliveries from Monday 23 March for those who are over 70 or have a Disability, the DWP classes me as being Severely Disabled, not something that I like to think about but it is what it is.

Hopefully things improve soon as many vulnerable people are going to struggle if things do not improve, soon.

Morning all,
Im just back from "WALKIES" with the boys 'four legged ones) and "she who must be obeyed"
(the wife) has just watched the uk news and a nurse was on in tears having completed the grave yard shift (12hour night shift) and on her way home she visited her local suppermarket only to find the shelves empty,
Now i did say only yesterday the uk's in for a big wake up call in the very near future ref food supplies and all those on here who said i was wrong "Just watch this space"

Its getting those shelves re-filled is the question "But" without the supply chain to fill them !!!!!!

Also, yes I saw that news clip as well yesterday, so it's not todays news , and it wasn't a night shift either, she had been working all day, and I thought, well, if she was that hungry I would have gone to McDonalds or one of the millions of take aways or restaurants that are doing take away services now.

I know I'm gonna get in trouble for this , but, here goes......

Perhaps you should go and put your head in the sand and then we wouldn't have to listen to you anymore.

PS and your fingers so you couldn't type all that rubbish.

If you don't live over here then you don't really k ow what's going on. You only see selective snippets of news etc, .

 

I've just watched the video of the critical care nurse - who on finishing a 48 hour shift - couldn't get any food in the shops - because of panic buying.

I'll admit I did shed a tear at this video - those people who hoovered up the shelves - they must stop being so piggin' thoughtless . When they or their family need a critical care nurse - they won't be there - because of their selfishness.

 

@moonraker how about going into self quarantine for 2 weeks
