Are you suggesting I should have to pay £10 extra on my shopping just because I want to park my car?
That is just the kind of thinking that has killed most high streets, councils charging people increasing amounts to park because they see it as a money earner, and why most large companies have moved out, to out of town shopping areas.

I'm sorry that it costs you £10 a time, I'm guessing you're using a taxi, but that is hardly the norm.

There is a hospital near me that looks like that all the time, its called a "private" one.;)

When I went for a scan patients were out numbered 4 to one.

We have the facilities, its just that us commoners are not allowed to use them, maybe the government should declare a state of emergency and commadeer these places.

Hi Lori, the only thing that's been mentioned is washing your hands to happy birthday.

From next week it's being reduced from 6 episodes a week to 3, but they've now stopped production and they're saying from June it won't be on at all probably till the Autumn.

As for Geoff, not really a spoiler as the pictures have been released on the internet but he ends up in court ( they haven't give anything away regards charges etc ).

It very easy, we haven't even had a vister for over 6 months, the only time we get close to people is when we do our shopping and paying bills in the bank

It may be because I smell :heehee:

Parking fees in town centres is usually extortionate. When I worked in the town centre I always kicked up a fuss at council meeting (open to the public) and the council argued that it was expensive to maintain the car parks and that they always ran at a loss (their excuse for increasing prices every other year). I obtained copies of their internal accounts for the previous six years that showed each time the prices went up the expenses went up to a similar extent. So I did some investigations and found that they were increasing the number of employees each time and those employees were using the 'disabled quota' for almost the whole of the council. So they didn't need to employ them in other departments. Technically nothing wrong but it showed that there are numerous ways for the council to increase revenues without making it show.

Fortunately, but maybe too late, they are now realising that the policy has helped towards the demise of the high street.

Well, those pillocks that couldn't stay away from beaches, parks and all the rest of it have done it to themselves and the rest of us - we are now locked down.

To be honest, FC, it's not going to make much difference to you or I. You have to basically stay at Home due to your medical condition anyway, and I being :old: have been staying at home since the advice given by Government to stay at Home. We both can, and do, work from Home, we only shop when we have to. The Parks etc are still open, (depending on the particular Council), but the only thing that basically has changed is that crowds are not allowed to gather and that groups ignoring the safe distance rule will be broken up.
The increases in the Lock Down have not been brought about the Government but by the continuing behaviour of the Idiots who have ignored all the Advice given despite all the dangers to themselves and other people.
My two friends in Manchester were "locked down" by one of the their daughters two weeks ago!!!
She is a Tax Consultant working for a global Company who has asked everyone to work from Home. She has two teenage daughters, a Husband and a Cat to look after but she now delivers everything my friends need, plus anything that she herself thinks they need:heehee:. She brings it to the door, leaves it on the doorstep and speaks to them through the window and they get the wagging finger not to leave the House!!

It doesn't affect us in terms of going out, you are correct @ARMANDII - it will, however, continue to affect me in terms of workload as believe it or not my workload has shot through the roof as a result of all of this. I am lucky that I can work from home, and can continue to work throughout - however, I would rather not be doing 70+ hrs in a week.
