I know for sure my manager has got a box of masks at work because I bought one of them, so more fool them for not wearing one :dbgrtmb:

I have done @Upsydaisy my friend and they said are you feeling alright Dad :heehee:and and say thank you to @Upsydaisy ( they think I've lost the plot) but after I explained to them they both laughed;)

I dearly miss seeing the lambs being born this year, and not being able to walk through my bluebell woods later on,never missed a year in 60 years:smile:

Aw that's a shame Woo, although we have no sheep that close to us we are very fortunate to have a great Bluebell wood just up our lane.

You and your family have a good day and keep each other safe.:spinning:

                Good day
Hmm, I thought you had already changed your clocks. We moved ours a few weeks ago so we're only 4 hours apart for the rest of today instead of the 5 I had assumed

I got my cellar stairwell primed and today I plan to put the coloured paint on. Don't know if it will take one coat or two and if it takes two, then the second coat might happen later today or wait until tomorrow. This roller painting is tougher than I imagined and I believe the fellows who originally wall boarded the area must have been knick named "Rollercoaster and Lumpy" ! In the afternoon I also got my water lines properly hooked up in the little (unheated) greenhouses and the pots sorted and ready for soil and plants at the beginning of May. I went to bed with a smile on my face and it is still here this morning :)

It's supposed to be a miserable day today and tomorrow we are expecting 65f with rain and thunderstorms. Then back into the fridge for the rest of the week.

This distancing is working out very well. Forcing me to get lots of jobs done. Come the warm weather, I'll only have to be inside on rainy days and then, I'll only have regular maintenance and cleaning to do. It's sad that people had to get sick for the world to settle down

Take care all and many happy birthdays!

                    Aloha everyone,

We've just come back from our daily walk to the village - and back :heehee:.

Very few people about and we kept well over 6ft apart - usually 20ft or more. The village shop had a queue outside with people waiting at least 10ft apart and no more than two people in the shop at a time. On our way back the shop was empty so I quickly popped in for some ginger and some apples. No more than about 40 seconds in all.

Back out in the garden now to see how well the bonfire went.

                    Keep well

                    Aloha!

Just been writing to my cousin in Newzealand, they are on full lockdown now, only one death over there and 553 cases.

Grey cloud in the NW last day in isolation for me today, so making the most of feeling safe at home :dbgrtmb:

Likewise @Flumpy I hope you and everyone else are all well too and that your hubby is still recovering well.

We have friends out in NZ in the Bay of Plenty region and we email each other to keep updated, very scary how it has eventually reached all corners of the planet isn't it!

Sunny here at the moment but temps have dropped now.

Have a great day every and keep smiling!!:giggle:

My parents planned to emigrate there back in the 60s but having elderly parents....family ties are so strong!!

Our friends emigrated there in 1990, they had a couple of young children ,the same age as ours,in the end her parents emigrated too as they all missed each other so much!

Sadly now their daughter has come back over here to live and is now married and had a child...so they are all missing each other again!!
