Corona Virus Treatment

Something everybody should be helping the elderly to do, perhaps even using remote access.


I've just pushed a wheelbarrow full of MPC, bagged commercial compost and a strawberry growbag about 200m (essential exercise) to a friend who's in isolation due to severe health issues. She can't even take advantage of the better weather as her medical conditions keep her indoors during bright sunshine.

 

For those who remember it, I think those who have been hogging all the toilet roll should be made to use izal.

 

Always seemed too slippery to work well.
A bit like using a glossy magazine.

 

That just justified Daily Mail existence

 

How could they call it 'tissue' ,more like greaseproof baking paper!! We use to have it school....horrid stuff!!

 

We used to use it as tracing paper

 

We want to get my Dad an Echo Show, so that we can talk face to face with him, but he won't entertain the idea at all. My sister, eldest son and niece also have one so we could all chat with him...but no he is adamant. He use to be able to use his laptop for very basic things but now he finds that too confusing. If we got him a Show we wouldn't expect him to use it to call us, although it would only require a simple voice command, instead we would all initiate the contact call, so all he would have to do is command it to ' answer '. We will have to do some more persuasive talking. I bet he would love it once he got use to it.

 

@Upsydaisy Yep that's the way to go, been WhatsApping my daughter all week, she's been coming for Sunday dinner with the grandkids since time began going to be gutted tomorrow but don't want her to know that, this whole thing just seem so surreal, like you're not seeing it but it's happening.

 

There was a panic buying session for Toilet Paper,..now everyone must have more than they can use as the shops are offering Specials,..no takers anymore.

 

Good news! Mrs Scrungee remembered there's bars of soap in her clothes drawers. They might have gone a bit hard.
