I've hit 'funny' before with my fat fingers and in a hurry looking for the 'disagree' button :)

Good morning I have been talking this morning at length to my son and daughter who both work in critical care units ,and yes they are both worried but they tell me that at the moment they are not eligible to be tested:dunno:

And since there is no disagree button, "funny" can be a substitute for "laughable"... the interpretation is up to the reader … :heehee:

I always hit the wrong button on my phone so tend to like the PC better.

I do think some of the Trump bashing is OTT, I dont live there, so pretty much, unless what he does affects me, and he seems to have support in the USA, I'd not comment on his actions in any big way.
He's the elected leader, for how long, who knows, but I think if someone in the US was doing a bit of Boris bashing it would be considered out of order at the moment.

If you want to bash anyone give it to China.;)

Seen on the news that Sweden is taking a very different approach:
"While swathes of Europe's population endure lockdown conditions in the face of the coronavirus outbreak, one country stands almost alone in allowing life to go on much closer to normal."

Lockdown, what lockdown? Sweden's unusual response

Wonder how that will turn out, maybe it will work and everywhere else is in lockdown for no good reason?

Maybe.... But all travel from Sweden will likely be barred beyond others opening borders if the stats show a rising mortality.

                The beeb:

"A driver flouted the coronavirus lockdown to pick up £15 windows with his wife in the boot of his car.

The man, who had bought the windows on eBay, was stopped by police on the M6 in Cheshire on Sunday after collecting his purchase in Salford - a 220 mile round trip.

North West Motorway Police issued the man with a traffic offence report.

In response to the Police tweet Jonny Evans quipped: "Maybe he saw a window of opportunity."

I still can't get my head around why we haven't shut the allotment. A gathering place for obstinate old geezers - who won't take any notice of that meddling Government - sounds like an ideal place to keep open in the midst of a pandemic.

I'm going nowhere near the place until all this blows over.

Surely you'll be losing your harvest ?

My Allotment is key to us at the moment, I'm bringing back potatoes, kale, broccoli, rhubarb and cut flowers. It would be bad for me to abandon it as it is eeking out our dwindling food supplies, we haven't been out and shopped for nearly two weeks. It's also my daily exercise, walking down there in my lunch break and digging up stuff then walking home, takes about an hour. People seem well behaved on ours, keeping to their plots and I was never one to stand around chatting anyway.

... and soon we will getting asparagus that obviously needs picking regularly or it goes to waste

I'm using my allotment, but then it is just over the back fence and nobody else goes there.
But talking to neighbours and just passed some timber over the fence to one of them.

Went shopping in Morrisons earlier, was good no real queuing and the roads are deserted, took the long way home to give the car a bit of a run, the brakes were rusting up:biggrin:

Then took some bottles to the bottle dump.
If only the roads were this empty all the time.;)

I rarely watch Good Morning Britain but this morning I did for about 20 mins...Piers Morgan had a Biro in his hand that he constantly kept putting in his mouth and then poking his eye with it...he did it umpteen times:rolleyespink:....it was winding me up a treat ,I even tried to tweet him to tell him to "bladdy well STOP IT "...But others got in first...for someone who has openly and to a point understandably kicked and screamed like a banshee about this 'ere virus he should know better.
