:dbgrtmb:, Hoping mine is just the start of my 'normal ' migraines.....not sure about the throat though.:noidea:

Oh I certainly plan to carry on @wiseowl ...without doubt, but as I'm the only one out of all my siblings able to do ' care duties' for my Dad..I am now going to have keep away for a while to be on the safe side. I haven't seen him for over a week now, because my younger sister came down from London ( not happy about that!!) ,so I kept my distance! But as she returned home over a week ago and Dad seems well I had hoped to resume my 'duties'.

Good morning friends, Sorry to hear some of you are under the weather as long as it is not the dreaded virus. Look after yourselves, do not feel so good myself. Hope it's just a cold I have been self isolating for weeks now since I finished the hospital visits. Have a good day, stay safe and well. God bless :wub2:

Morning upsydaisy & Wiseowl sorry to hear you have sore throats too, hot lemon and honey may sort that out and paracetamol :)

my temp is now 36.9 so nearly normal, not sure what was wrong but my body was fighting something, my neighbor next door but ones wood burner doesn’t help, the smell comes through our fire place and vents upstairs, gives us sore throat and tight chest, we spoken to them last year, but they just said the air shouldn’t blow down our chimney, really they are not bothered about our health .

Ive got four sweet peas popping there heads up now, I’m going to grow two lots this year :dbgrtmb:

              Good day
I hope those who are poorly start feeling better soon. I am in great health, well, I did get a bit of a headache reading the screed between two admin on the subject of the virus but that is now gone :)

A friend sent me this today

"I put fertilizer on the lawn the other day and the grass is not turning green."
              Chuck.JPG
              :heehee: well, it is Canada...

So far I've only watered my cellar dwellers and made myself a cuppa. Today's to do list is an easy one. I'm going to pot up the ring of fire peppers into their hanging pots and since we are expecting a sunny day, I've got some maintenance to occupy me outside.

Have a lovely day everyone. I'm thankful for my friends here as the virus can't stop our community from our usual way of "talking". Sad that Shineyland had to be cancelled but very appropriate to do so. I miss my family but I know this will all be over with soon enough. Hope they still recognize me... :heehee:

Cheers and stay safe :blue thumb:

                Aloha everyone,

I wish all of you that are poorly will be a lot better today :grphg:

I seemed to be too busy yesterday to get on here. Apart from doing a proper shop for the first time in weeks everyone seemed to pick yesterday to phone me for a chat :noidea: :).

I've also been having lots of emails about the admin of the village hall and the regulations becoming a pain for all of us. With the halls (we have two of them) being closed the insurance company are insisting on certain stringent measures to maintain and protect the property. That's understandable but we're having trouble with the accountants doing the annual return for the Charities Commission and HMRC. They say that HMRC want us to provide the auditors with photo ID, verified by a 'competent person', copies of birth certificate and other documents of proof. The Charities Commission say they don't require this info as we are running it, unpaid, and it's a non-profit organisation but the accountants still insist that it is their duty to have this info. They will then store it in the 'Cloud'. My response was a polite two fingers! :heehee:

I didn't get a chance to have my daily walk until nearly 6 p.m.

                Keep well

                Aloha!

Good morning all, hope that everyone is on the mend and looking forward to a promising day ahead. Temps are rising:yes:

Still off colour myself and have upped the ante on the painkillers, but at least I can walk straight for most of the time now and not feel as if I'm on a boat in the middle of a very choppy sea, just need to get this awful headache to turn down a notch or two

Take care and remain safe everyone.:dbgrtmb:

Morning @shiney my friend I have to admit that I borrowed it from my friend " Seneca."
