@wiseowl check if you have a Sainsbury's near you. Their opening time for wrinklies, here, is when they first open (Mon,Wed,Fri), which 8 - 9 a.m. I got there at 7.45 and had to queue in the car park so I guess that those in front of me got there a lot earlier. I only had to wait fifteen minutes after the opening time in order to get to the front of the queue. They weren't allowing too many in at a time. Inside was not crowded and most people kept there distance whilst looking at the shelves.

The Tesco situation is a bit silly as the store is already full when they have the seniors time!

Hi @wiseowl , I've just had a look for you and there's a company called Medway Mice in Maidstone. If you get desperate why don't you fly in there undercover of the night and raid their stock.

@wiseowl check the times of opening on your one at Gravesend. On their website they should show the times of opening and the times for seniors. Most stores have changed their opening times.

I tend to think this is all pie in the sky, working from home?
Yeah, most people can't and are lounging around at home and there are no kids going to school, probably the biggest clogging up of the roads is about school kids.
I notice a big difference when the kids are off school and on holiday.

You only have to think back to a couple of weeks ago and the big crush on the tube was not office workers, it was construction workers which is why they shut down all the building sites in London.

Working from home ok for those that can, but most cant.

Yes, @pete I notice the same thing here too. Quite a difference when school is out. Makes you realize how many people out taxes have to pay.

I cannot figure out these time lines. Over here they are talking about this distancing needing to go on for months. How many cycles of 14 days is this expected to survive? And over in the UK royalty only had to self isolate for 7 days. So is it cycles of 7 days or 14 days or in the case of a living area left empty it is 3 days as the virus only lives that long without a "human host". Totally confused. And like everyone else, frustrated that no matter the math, there are still stupid people out there extending this ordeal by not keeping their distance!

                      Hello @CanadianLori

On the subject of stupid people :)

I have young neighbours, late 20s', he is a Plumber who I believe works on building sites etc.

I realised last week that his partner is pregnant, she seems to be staying at home rather than going to work, she works with Disabled people, but her partner is going out to work normally, even having another person park his car and then joining the neighbour in his van and then going to work for the day together.

In all honesty, I really do not like my neighbours, they have put me through hell since they have been here, but that is another story, my point is that I value all life, especially new life and they are putting the life of their unborn child at risk, either, unknowingly or knowingly, which would be so much worse.

                      Ridiculous.

I felt like a moan, could you tell :)

                      Thanks

                      Kevin

Amazon Prime delivery time is now 4 weeks, but apparently much, much less for food orders.

I've got a neighbour who says she is in the "at risk" group, not sure why.
Her husband is a postman, one son is a delivery driver, not sure what the other son is doing since coming back from university, they are all working.

Life has to go on, and money has to keep coming in, it's the reality and the government can come out with all kinds of restrictions, but things still have to function.
