Good and bad that go with that. What you see here is my best efforts in photoshop and selective cropping (Of photos, not Tomatoes !)

Good luck with the new house.

Not a lot, just looking out of the window as the sun has popped out between showers. I think a pair of Collared Doves may have nested high up in the Viburnum as I just saw one fly in. :fingers crossed:
I am thinking right at the upper left behind shade ...

Started mulching the roses, got about half way. I'd been out for about an hour so i thought that I'd better come in before the nosy neighbours said anything.

He has just mown the lawns and edged them:pathd:...not bad...we shall then progress to 'pricking out' and potting on and then the good stuff..latin names for plants..he didn't look too chuffed about that bit..I can see this will end in tears:heehee:

I never could get mine to physically do any gardening ... but he's pretty good on the Latin names and I sometimes embarrassingly have o ask him. but fair dinkums, he did take Latin for two years!

If I had to guess where it is I would say it was up the left hand fork of the second tree from the right.

Still moving the sprinkler around the garden as the rumours of promised rain were lies! Picked a load more rhubarb and shall deliver it later. Swept the pergola and car port - which is a long job because of all the things in the way.

The forked tree is the Iochroma cyanea cut back. The Viburnum is the dark leafed one mainly to the right, a photo of just the Viburnum in January from different angle, so top left where it is at its widest ...

The vents in the Green House were wide open by the time I managed to open the door and, although it only reached 62f, it felt really warm helped by the fact that there was no breeze to speak of. I planted a Centaurea in the small border by the Green House and a Knautia on the East side of the "walk around" border. I also cut back a really large clump of Hellebores so that I could plant 3 Nectorscordums close to it and then planted a Clematis Taiga and a Clematis Avante Garde by the Trellis Entrance to the Garden. I then used 4 Watering Cans to feed/water the now 60 or so Bearded Iris in the large pots on the wooden two tier bench, and along it, and then refilled the Watering Cans with a weak solution of organic feed again.
After that I had a sit on the Patio with a Mug of Tea and soaked up the warmth while listening to the Birds and watching them on the Bird Feeders:coffee: Then, grabbing the Hand Saw, I headed down to the bottom of the garden to try to cut back/prune the yellow flowered Buddleja which I wasn't able to cut back last year. It was, actually, easier than I thought it would be but disentangling the top growth from the Shrubs on either side. and while pulling and tugging at the severed branches of Buddleja out of the other Shrubs I kept jostling against a Thuja Boulevard which just showered me in spikes of dead foliage which managed to get down my neck, inside my T-shirt, sticking to my clothes, and laying a carpet of it on and in my hair.:gaah:. So, after finishing the job, I shook myself down, headed for the House and a Shower. I had to dump all the clothing I was wearing into the Wash Basket and get new, clean clothing to wear for the rest of the day.
In the meantime a large Incinerator was delivered and left on the doorstep so, before heading for the Shower, I dragged it around to the side passage of the House as a job for tomorrow.:cat-kittyandsmiley::coffee:
