They've now upped the percentages to for the next two hours to 90 and 73. There are some clouds coming over :hapydancsmil:

Double the amount we had

Sprinkler still going. I've finished watering the front garden - apart from the bed by the road where my hose can't reach.

I'm now watering part of the veg patch that needs a lot of digging and weeding ready for cut flowers and it's watering the rhubarb at the same time.

Next rain due on Saturday (20% :fingers crossed:).

No rain here either @shiney. How about swapping some of your clay for my sandy loam? It's like dust.

Mostly sunny here but the wind was strong until mid afternoon. 13C/55F

A few showers overnight but only enough to wet the surface. A stiff cool NW wind kept the temperature down to just 15c. @Sheal I'm on sand too the sparrows were having a dust bath this afternoon.

They do that here too @strongylodon. If there was one bird I could wipe from the planet it would be those, they drive me mad. :doh:It's not only their constant noise, but I have deep fascias/soffets on my bungalow which I can stand under when it rains and not get wet. The sparrows, I don't know how, manage to get in and nest in the corners every year. I had problems with them under roof tiles in my previous place, I think they've followed me. :frown: :)

Cloudy morning, followed by a clear sunny spell till around 4pm when it clouded over, cooler than yesterday but actually felt warmer due to less wind.
