my parents are in there early 80, but Tesco, Morrison’s & Asda don’t have any slots for weeks, I’ve managed to get a local butcher to deliver meat

 

Yes we found 111 no help when you do get through to them, I hope he gets better very soon Shiney fingers and toes crossed

 

I found this on google, don’t know if you have a Morrison’s but apparently this gets delivered by currier instead of Morrison’s

 

Our friends son was hospitalised, but is now recovering at home. Scary times!

 

Sainsburys asked our Dad's age when we contacted them at the very start of all this. We also explained that all nearby relatives were either disabled or pensioners too. So thankfully we've had no problems.

Are they already established online shoppers with them, not sure if that will make a difference but we've had an online account with them for a few years now.

 

No, they don’t have Internet or mobile phone just landline, they would have to do it through me

Good day
It just stopped snowing. Nothing that is going to stick around as it was warm yesterday and the ground is heated up enough to retain some warmth. The guessers have warned us that we can expect dips in temperature below freezing up to the end of the month (as historically has happened) and this is always a restless time for me. I want spring now!

I've got shopping to do today. Shopping list will be in hand and the most logical order of stops worked out.

I feel like I must be antisocial. I know no one who got the virus, or even anyone who knows someone who was struck down with it. My heart goes out to everyone here who is affected by this evil disease. I originally thought they had named it COVID19 because it was the 19th of it's kind but turns out, silly me, 19 is for 2019 when it was first identified. And this is the third of it's kind. The first one (forgot the name) started in the Middle-East, the second was Sars and now this. Just some trivia..

Please everyone take care. If we are lucky, we will reach the peak soon and successfully flatten the curve so that life can start getting back to what we are used to.
