Sorry to hear your arms not so good, sounds like you’ve strained something in your elbow, hope it gets better soon, enjoy the sun Upsydaisy and take it easy , love the picture by the way, where do you get them from?

 

Thanks @Flumpy , but I don't think it's a strain ,it's the actual elbow joint that is so very painful and it radiates all up and down my arm. It's definitely not muscular, but hey...it will undoubtedly get better. Trouble is I can't rest it as it a busy time now in the garden.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it isn't Bursitis.....I get that in my hips and shoulders and it lasts for ages, normally I end up needing to go to hospital for an Ultrasound Guided Steroid injection.....but obviously that can't happen at the moment.

Nevermind, at least we have sunshine!!

@Upsydaisy your elbow is where a main bundle of nerves travel through and swelling can pinch the nerves or if you have somehow stretched them, that is one of the sites that is affected. That's why when you hit your funny bone, it is not so funny. You probably need to let it rest.

It looks lovely out there this morning. Beautiful blue skies with light puffs of clouds way up high. However it is cold! Below freezing again and really not a fun time putting out the recycle bins whilst wearing my jammies

I've got someone coming to pick up the rest of the model railroad equipment this morning. I gave him a lot of landscape, tracking with switches, electronics, controllers - well enough to fill the back of his capped pick up truck, a month or so ago. There are about 40 locomotives left, all in their original boxes, which he has offered to help sell. I decided not to give the engines away like the other equipment because they are worth a fair amount and I'm just not feeling that generous!

I've got bread rising to make some fresh for him to take home with him. He likes my hot pepper bread and so he will get a loaf of Shineybread

I've started early outside too, as the heat was too much yesterday by the afternoon and working without any shade became unbearable. Instead we worked out there until quite late into the evening.

Happy Easter!
It is almost up to freezing and gloomy. I still have lots of branches to strip and chop up but it is too cold and damp out there to bother with today. They are saying that we're going to get heavy rains and strong winds tonight and tomorrow just to make things even more miserable. The pick up for this type of item is not until Friday, so lots of time to get that done.

I had two wonderful surprises. Yesterday afternoon my doorbell rang and it was daughter in law and granddaughter - they had put a beautiful orchid on my porch for me and also the teddy bear was there - with a mask on! Then later on, the door bell again and it's the other son and his family. He brought me two of his coleus seedlings and left them on the porch for me. He grew these from collected seeds and they are a lovely deep purple with bright green borders. Then they were going to leave the bear back on the other son's porch on their way home. Lots of fun conversations at about 15 feet away. So thoughtful of them.

I'm going to have a puttering day. Got some daisies to pot up and some easter egg plants that need to be given bigger quarters as well.
