Hi everyone, pretty sure this is a lily beetle, I have a lot of these where the leaves join the stem are they eggs or something else? Sorry about the quality of the pics. 20200413_122358.jpg 20200413_122443.jpg 20200413_122536.jpg

Yep. lily beetle, maybe eggs, I wouldn't like to say, but if they are its when they hatch the real trouble starts.
So squash the adults when you see them.

Thanks @pete squished it straight away, I've kindly been told they aren't eggs, the eggs are red and found under the leaves, to be honest Fritillaria can't be hard to find because they stink:heehee:

You can't miss the larvae as when they begin to hatch they cover themselves in their own poop...
I'm currently doing battle with the blighters with my 'trusty or untrusty' as it turns out galic spray ...I think I'm getting trigger finger:paladin:
