8c cold rain

 

A bit of a grey but dry day today and I don't the we'll see much of the sun. Everything is looking green and refreshed after yesterday's rain. High of 16C with a low of 8C.

 

I could have written that Upsy, except we are 13c going to 21c. No more rain forecast till mid week but cloudy/sunny.

 

Light rain and a gentle breeze from the north east temp 6c feels like 4c
Precipitation 85%

 

Logan I have to ask ... how come your temp always feels 1-2c less than it is? I can't tell that little.

 

Good morning Victoria, I always look at the weather app on my phone and that what it says.

 

Had 3.5mm of rain overnight, now cloudy and cold.

Must admit I've never understood the "feels like" thing, it feels different to different people.

 

Well hasn't brightened up; sea fret hanging around, everything is just wet.

 

Sun came out about 3pm, but max temp was only 14.2C

 

Another beautiful day and lovely working outside, but we're desperately in need of rain here.

It's easy, they say what the temp is going to be and then they put in the wind factor.

 

Most sites add it ,the BBC site say it's now 8C here but 'feels ' like 7C. I tend not to use it because (a) we are in a wind tunnel (b) and we are in a lot of shade in the morning from all the trees, all of which knocks a couple of degrees off the predicted temps. They can't possibly judge what the feel like temps are for everyone ..mine is different from my farmer neighbours up our lane because there are less trees and they aren't in a dip either. So no not accurate really unless you're in a desert!!

Anyway...lovely and sunny here with a predicted high of 18C and a low tonight of 7C.
