          @glengarry23 those are lovely. This year will be my first attempt at trying to clone phlox and peony from cuttings. I understand peony cuttings should take place in the fall. Is it the same for phlox?

          So exciting!

            @Victoria,

            Hi Victoria,

            Its not something that one would notice though this is the second time for me and in the same location,..i kept the last bud with the shoot,..planted it just peeping above the soil surface and the result was good,..i have that rose bush ever since,..it blooms a pink rose.

              @CanadianLori ,

              Hi Lori,

              The Phlox will be easily enough as in my case it was just cutting below a node,..dipping in Rooting Powder,..then potting and hoping for the best.

              Your Peony,..i have never took cuttings as i was told way back that cuttings don't take,..i would check on that info,..root division is no problem at all but it will take a long spell before the plant gets big enough to produce blooms.

              Philip

                The protective chicken wire and wire panels are still there for the present to protect the young plants coming along though its this week they should be removed,..however due to present circumstances they can wait a spell longer.

                The pathways,..which will be hardly seen at a later stage when everything fills in.

                    Thank you Victoria,..a very quiet garden as for the stones i would always take one home from my trips away on the boat,..no more boat but i think i have enough stones :).

                    Some blooms i captured on camera as i wandered about the garden today.

                      Where there is life there is hope.

                      From a small section of green and life,..where above it and below it there was no life.

                              I have small garden section where everything is in containers,..its between two cement paths and my cement shed therefore always very dry,..i can remove most of the containers to give them a good soaking from time to time,..below the image of that section and its ' Heuchera Plants',..not forgetting the 'Spanish Bayonet Tree'.

                                Love the Pieris. Had one in Bucks. Don't think they would like the dry climate here.
