Ok thanks @KFF . I normally sow my Impomea early, I use it as a trailer in my pots too.:dbgrtmb:

Yes I don't use their posh names!!:heehee: Normally they have behaved well but on the odd occasions( like last year) when I've tried them in pots.....no show!!:dunno:

I have cut down some overhanging conifers and shredded the cutting. Tricked about in the GH and did some watering. Put the table to start hardening plants off back in place after taking down to jet wash last week. Cut down some comfrey and started Tom and cucumber feed brewing. Then spent a couple of hours in shed drinking beer and designing new work bench/ tool station that I am going to start building in autumn/ winter with extraction unit. Still awaiting seeds I ordered from Sutton’s nearly 2 weeks ago:noidea:.

Didn't do much today but i got the toilet roll tubes cut in half and in trays ready for the wallflowers to be sown and of course some watering, hopefully it will rain tomorrow.
I got 4 large bags of mp compost and 1 large bag of ericeacous compost weeks ago.

Noticed one of our blueberry plants is dying but I've got a spare plant waiting to be potted on.

:dbgrtmb: I'm just a common gardener, just about able to recognise Buttercups from Daisies. Oh yes and the 'orrid' Ground Elder!!

Oh no @Upsydaisy are you having it delivered? I'd almost given up. Our local GC has closed and there was no chance from anywhere else.

Housework and laundry day today but did manage to squeeze in a couple of hours in the garden this afternoon.

Finished weeding one of the large borders, and planted some bulbs in it....goodness knows what they were !! Surprise, surprise!!

Took all the plants out of the greenhouse for their daily outing... then of course had to put them all back again this evening. That really has to be the worse job at this time of year!!!

Please to report that I think I have at least 2 Dahlias coming up ....note the word 'think'.:fingers crossed: I took a chance and left about 10 in the ground over winter so I've got everything crossed.

Happy to see that the seeds I direct sowed into our large planters ( no compost so had to chance it) have germinated ...well I hope so and they're not weeds:yikes:. The only minor issue is that I can't remember what the seeds were. I was so worried that the garden wouldn't be as colourful as it normally is that I maniacally when round chucking old packets of seeds everywhere in the hope that at least a few would prove still viable.

Yes In-Excess started doing click and collect last Wednesday, even though I placed my order at 9:30 that same day I still had to wait a week for a collection slot.

Have plenty of Ericeacous...was tempted to use that for my seeds but thought better of it.:heehee:

Desperate times call for desperate measures. I have some dust (old soil out of the garden I nearly used) but pulled myself together ha. I couldn't get hold of any Ericeacous it had all sold out so they will have to wait.

Monty said recently that it's better to try anything...even garden soil to sow seeds in that to not try at all.....so I just chucked them !!!

Aha I don't know what your on about

I had to shorten my list slightly as my other half decided to come with me last minute ;)

I think I have been sewing my seeds a little to deep too so hopefully these today might work :wallbanging:
